Our Goals
- To mobilize, educate, train and empower women and girls from vulnerable communities so that they are equipped to engage in productive endeavors, overcome social stigmas, report gender base violence and face all aspects of their lives with confidence, optimism and hope.
- To transform vulnerable women and girls into change agents and productive members of society whereby they can actively contribute to the positive development of their communities.
- To provide shelter and support for abused and stigmatized women – young and old – and for the girl-child living with HIV/AIDS
- To increase awareness and visibility concerning the challenges and difficulties faced by individuals and groups in vulnerable populations in the form of stigma, prejudice and discrimination.
- To enlighten and sensitize our (ZIF’s) publics on our programmatic interventions and of the opportunities these present to them to participate and contribute to our work.
