Notable Partnerships
ZIF has active partnerships on several fronts. These partnerships have been strategic as far as building upon and expanding our capacity to achieve our charity’s objectives, particularly as it concerns addressing some of the impacts of diseases like HIV/AIDS at the community level. This way, ZIF is aligned with global and national interventions in Nigeria as it relates to diseases of public health concern, education, OVCs, and the related issues.
1. ZIF + NEPWHAN Partnership: ZIF was selected as an Implementing CBO by NEPWHAN for the Global Fund which is supporting a COVID-19 Response Mechanism (C19RM) grant and Community Systems Strengthening Interventions towards Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health (CSS-RSSH). NEPWHAN was selected as a Technical Services Contractor by NACA, the principal recipient of the grant, to provide technical services and support for the uptake of COVID-19 services and to improve client outcome for HIV, TB and Malaria services in Nigeria.
ZIF was selected by NEPWHAN as an Implementing CBO towards the realization of the grant’s objectives.
2. ZIF + Kingdom Kids Klub Partnership: ZIF is one of the Implementing Partners along with the Kingdom Kids Club on monitoring of the National Home-grown School Feeding Program (NHGSFP). This entails monitoring the preparation of food by vendors and evaluating the quantity and quality of the food consumed by children, in order that the children are provided meals that are nutritional and meet the requirements of a balanced diet. The monitoring is designed to achieve the goal of reducing malnutrition among poor/vulnerable children of school age.
